What happens if I have to cancel my class?

Sometimes its necessary to cancel a workout. This might be due to disease or bad weather (if your workout is weather dependent). Only the trainer (host) can cancel a workout/class. If a class is cancelled, all participants will be notified and any payments automatically refunded to the attendees. We highly recommend that you send out a personal message informing your customers about why the workouts is cancelled. There is no shame in cancelling a class, just be clear in your communication to the people who have booked your class.


What happens if no one books my class?

Nothing. The class disappears from the discovery screen (and is not possible to book) as soon as the workout finishes. We recommend that you give some thought into how you may increase the number of participants in the future. Go to our guides and tips page to read about how to best utilize PTX and get more bookings.


How and when do I get paid?

Payments are transferred to your chosen bank account each Monday, 14 days after the payment is made through PTX. In other words you are paid the full amount that has been transferred to you through PTX 14 days prior each Monday. 


What is the PTX service fee?

We charge a service fee to hosts when a booking is confirmed. This service fee is refunded if a booking, class e.g. is cancelled. The PTX service fee is 10 %. This is calculated from the price of the class/workout and is automatically deducted from the trainers payout. 


How should I price my workout?

You decide the price of your class or if you would like to host a class free of charge. For those who dont have to much experience we suggest to start with a low price or just host activities for free to get going.


How do my customers pay for my class?

Your clients can pay for your class with all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country. Payment is provided by Stripe, perhaps the most secure payment provider in the world, handling payment for some of the worlds largest solutions and companies worldwide. We are always working to be one the forefront of new and modern solutions for easy and secure payment and will in the future support Apple and Google Pay. Making it even easier for your clients to book and pay for your classes.

My class just got cancelled, what will happen?

Sometimes its necessary to cancel a workout. This might be due to disease (the trainer is sick) or bad weather (if the class is weather dependent). If the class you have booked is cancelled you will automatically be refunded the full amount.


I want to cancel my booking

In order for trainers to have some foresight into their schedule and plan ahead we have a no-refund policy on classes hosted on PTX. However, you may contact the trainer (send a message through the app) tell them about your situation and they might decide to cancel your booking, i.e. giving you a full refund.


How do I pay for classes on PTX?

You can pay for classes on PTX with all major debit and credit cards. Payment is provided by Stripe, perhaps the most secure payment provider in the world. 


I want to delete my account

If you want to delete your PTX account you only need to send us an email on contact@ptx.app - State your username and we will delete all user data associated with your account.
